Sunseeker Resort
Brand identity concept for Sunseeker Resort, a luxury waterfront destination in Charlotte Harbor, Florida. The property encompasses 15 restaurants and bars, championship golf, rooftop and ground-level pool experiences, a full-service spa, and 60,000 square feet of event space. The identity was developed during the resort's pre-opening phase, when the brand had to sell a vision for a property that didn't yet exist. Every touchpoint -- from investor materials to future guest communications -- needed to establish Sunseeker as a refined Gulf Coast destination before a single guest walked through the doors.
The challenge was positioning: the Gulf Coast hospitality market skews casual, but Sunseeker's ambition was elevated -- waterfront sophistication without the formality of a traditional luxury resort. The identity needed to split that difference. The mark draws from the interplay of sun, sea, and horizon -- the "S" monogram built from fluid, wave-inspired forms that feel coastal without resorting to literal nautical imagery. The color system anchors in sage and sea glass greens, grounded by warm neutrals that reference the natural palette of Charlotte Harbor's shoreline. Typography pairs a refined serif with a clean sans to carry the same tension between polish and ease that defines the resort experience.
