Overview
Made by Plume ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you visit madebyplume.com.
Information We Collect
We collect limited information to improve your experience and understand how visitors use our site:
- Analytics data: Pages visited, time on site, referral source, device type, and browser information -- collected via Google Analytics 4.
- Advertising data: Meta Pixel tracks page views and interactions to measure the effectiveness of our advertising.
- Contact form submissions: Name, email address, and message content when you reach out through our contact form.
Cookie Categories
We organize cookies and tracking technologies into three categories. You can manage your preferences at any time using the Cookie Preferences link in the footer of every page.
Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the site to function properly. They cannot be disabled.
- cookieConsent (localStorage) and cc_consent: Store your cookie preferences (which categories you have accepted or declined). No personal data is collected.
- cc_region: Records whether your country requires us to ask before loading optional cookies. It is derived from your approximate location and stores no other information.
Analytics Cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with our website so we can improve the experience. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are asked before these load. Elsewhere they load by default, and you can turn them off at any time through Cookie Preferences.
- Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*): Tracks anonymous usage data including pages visited, session duration, and traffic sources. Data is processed by Google under their privacy policy.
Marketing Cookies
These cookies are used for retargeting and measuring advertising campaign effectiveness. Only loaded if you enable marketing in your preferences.
- Meta Pixel (_fbp): Tracks page views and interactions for advertising measurement. Data is processed by Meta under their privacy policy.
Managing Your Preferences
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, a cookie consent banner gives you three options on your first visit:
- Accept All: Enables all cookie categories (necessary, analytics, and marketing).
- Decline All: Disables all optional cookies. Only necessary cookies remain active.
- Manage Preferences: Opens a panel where you can enable or disable individual cookie categories.
Visitors everywhere can change their choice at any time through the Cookie Preferences link in the site footer, which opens the same panel.
How We Use Your Information
- To understand how visitors interact with our website
- To measure the reach and effectiveness of our marketing
- To respond to inquiries submitted through our contact form
- To improve our website and services
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Analytics data is processed by Google (Google Analytics 4) and Meta (Meta Pixel) under their respective privacy policies. We do not share contact form submissions with third parties.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Choose which cookie categories to enable or disable via Cookie Preferences
- Request access to personal data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your personal data
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (California residents under CCPA)
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at denver@madebyplume.com.
Data Retention
Analytics data is retained according to Google and Meta default retention policies. Contact form submissions are retained for the duration of our business relationship or until you request deletion. Cookie preferences are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers.
Atrium and Your Google Account
Atrium is Made by Plume's internal client-management tool, at atrium.madebyplume.com. When a Made by Plume team member connects a Google account to Atrium, Atrium asks Google for access to that account's calendars, and uses it only for scheduling.
What Atrium accesses
- Your list of calendars, so you can choose which ones count as busy and which one receives bookings.
- Free/busy timeson the calendars you choose, so booking pages never offer a time you're already busy. Atrium reads only whether a time is taken, never event titles, attendees or details.
- Events it creates on the calendar you choose when someone books a meeting, including the Google Meet link and invitation, and moving or deleting that event if the booking is rescheduled or cancelled.
- Your name and email address when you sign in to Atrium with Google, to identify you.
How it's stored and protected
Google access tokens are encrypted at rest and used only on Atrium's servers. Access is limited to the Made by Plume team members who connected their accounts.
What Atrium never does
Atrium does not sell, rent or share your Google data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI or machine-learning models, and it does not read calendar event contents beyond busy/free.
Atrium's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to theGoogle API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Removing access
Disconnect a calendar from Atrium's Booking page, or remove "Plume Tools" atmyaccount.google.com/permissions. Disconnecting stops all further access. Stored tokens and booking records are deleted on request todenver@madebyplume.com.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
